Learn how "sweet water" was discovered by the Aboriginals and later how it was passed onto the pioneers. See first hand innovation making a difference. PROGRAMS
1. ABORIGINAL MAPLE ADVENTURE
Begins with a short trail walk to our outdoor natural theatre area.
- Once here the origins of maple syrup begins with our Aboriginal Maple storytelling and performance.
- Next be prepared to share in Aboriginal song, dance and drumming.
- Followed by a real life demonstration of transforming "sweet water" to maple syrup at the campfire.
- Take time to ask questions, take pictures and discover more about how maple came into our modern day lives.
- Additional options available; maple lunch, taffy or combine with our pioneer and modern day guided maple tour below. Please visit extra activities for details.
- Available mid October to the end of April. Please contact us to arrange your visit.
- Experience this adventure for $15/student (min. 65 participants).

2.
ABORIGINAL MAPLE ADVENTURE WITH SLEIGH RIDE AND TOUR
- Begins with a short trail walk to our outdoor natural theatre area.
- Once here the origins of maple syrup begins with our Aboriginal Maple storytelling and performance.
- Next be prepared to share in Aboriginal song, dance and drumming.
- Followed by a real life demonstration of transforming "sweet water" to maple syrup at the campfire.
- Take time to ask questions, take pictures and discover more about how maple came into our modern day lives.
- Enjoy a peaceful horse drawn sleigh ride through the forest.
- A guided tour will take you through how the pioneers produced maple syrup to the modern day process.

3.
GUIDED MAPLE ADVENTURE
Begins with a short walk to our native display to see how the origins or maple syrup began.
- Learn how the Aboriginal people passed along the "sweet water" tradition to pioneers.
- Next we continue along the path to our Grandmother Maple Tree.
- Discover the innovation that our ancestors used in tapping and gathering sap.
- From hand and yokes to bucket and horse the tradition continued.
- See the progress from the early generations to more modern times as we move along into our Sugar Camp.
- Explore the camp and see for yourselves how this timely tradition has woven its way into our lives
- Next stop…our Maple Shoppe.
- From production to product we have it all. Our maple syrup is used in all of our products including syrup, taffy, cotton candy, jams, salsa, fruit syrups...

5. FULTON'S TANTE CAROLINE “Maple Fun in French” April 10 & 11, 2008
Tante Caroline will be telling stories and singing songs in French. She will be entertaining both French and English children with her engaging stories accompanied by her puppet friends. Her stories are designed to inspire your children to develop their French language skills.
Tante Caroline travels the world on her amazing flying bicycle. Her passion for the French language is her inspiration behind her sorties. Children who are either French speaking or learning French as a second language will find themselves enthralled by her innovative storytelling approach.
Tante Caroline and Noisette will welcome school groups to enjoy their “Maple Fun in French” program. Enjoy this experience: $10.00/participant
