Maple Cornbread

Ingredients
1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
¼ cup cornmeal
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
½ cup Fulton's maple syrup
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp Fulton's seasoning mix

  • In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and Fulton's seasoning mix.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs and add milk, maple syrup, and oil.
  • Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • Pour into 9" baking pan or muffin tins (sprayed with cooking oil).
  • Bake at 400F for 20 - 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near centre comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes and cut into squares.
