Jennifer Cowan
Jennifer Cowan has been an educator for over 15 years. With a degree in business and a Master's degree in education, she has improved the performance of employees for many organizations, including government and private sector companies. She has trained their leaders, helped to build their teams, lead projects to targeted completion, and developed strategic plans. She has worked with individuals, small groups and large groups both outdoors and indoors to improve communication, planning and performance.
At Fulton’s, Jennifer brings her wealth of experience to the team building programs ensuring that relevant work-focused skills are promoted through fun and energizing experiential elements.
Rica Gerhardt
Rica
Gerhardt is a certified Naturotherapist, Specialized Holistic
Health Kinesiologist, Reiki Master/ Teacher who has been interested
in natural health for nearly 20 years. After 15 years of teaching
at a German high school, her move to Canada in 1991 opened
new doors and lead to extensive studies of various natural
healing modalities.
In private practice since 1994, Rica supports her clients
in individual healing sessions on their journey to radiant
health. Integrating Attitudinal and Health Kinesiology, Reiki,
Brain Gym, Educational Kinesiology and Iridology as well as
herbal and flower essence therapy. Rica offers a unique way
to help people heal and feel better. She facilitates changing
limiting subconscious core beliefs to empowering new thought
patterns, thus enabling her clients to transform their lives
and be the best they can be.
Rica's extensive training in teaching has come in handy as
she has developed a particular passion for presenting workshops
and Healing Spa PlayDays. By offering an abundance of tools
and simple energy balancing techniques for daily use Rica
empowers and enables people to take responsibility for their
own health and healing. In addition to Reiki, Rica teaches
her clients how to connect with their own inner guidance in
their everyday lives.
Rica enjoys writing and uses that as a tool to pass on her
insights and ideas to a broader public. A number of articles
on various topics related to health and spirituality have
been published over the past 10 years.
Matt
Ficner
~creativity is key~
When
asked to describe what he does for a living, Matt Ficner sums
it up as:" I'm someone who likes to follow da Vinci's
principals of curiosity."
Sculptor,
artist, instructor, painter, designer, performer, inventor,
musician, puppet master, Reiki master, digital visualist,
photographer
and many other titles follow Matt's name.
Some
of Matt's creative endeavours have seen him create and perform
puppet characters for film, television and stage for industry
giants Jim Henson Associates, Warner Brothers, Disney and
the BBC. Matt has performed alongside such legends as actress
Betty White, actor/magician Harry Anderson and the one and
only Swedish Chef (Muppets).
Matt
has also designed logos and icons for industry, recorded his
own music CDs, hunted ghosts, traveled extensively and met
some of the most magical and exciting individuals. Matt's
ingenuity and curiosity is continuously evolving and he has
created many award winning, international projects.

Theresa
McKeown
Theresa
McKeown is a management consultant, specializing in organizational
design, change management, strategic communication and executive
mentoring. She facilitates experiences that alter peoples'
lives and workplaces. Her international consulting, mentoring
and training business is based in the Ottawa Valley and, in
the winter, in Mexico.
Theresa
is an NLP Master Practitioner and a certified Hypnosis Master
Trainer and Hypnotherapist. A YWCA certified fitness instructor
for more than 20 years, her mind-body practices include leading
hikes, aerobics and yoga classes, as well as meditation and
breathing techniques. She has a Master's degree in Public
Administration.
Elliott Smith
Elliott
Smith, Magician, has entertained corporations, television audiences
and travelers across Canada, the United States, Europe, the
Caribbean and Mexico for over 38 years. A member of the International
Brotherhood of Magicians and the distinguished Order of Merlin,
Elliott has performed his special brand of magic and comedy
for two past Prime Ministers of Canada, International Ambassadors
and even the late Liberace.
He
now performs his own brand of trickery to wider audiences,
but on a whole new level - using his magic to provide team-building
and motivational training for some of the largest companies
in Canada. He is also the co-author of a new book entitled
Highway to Success, a unique book designed to help any business
professional (and indeed, anyone who is following their dream)
to develop business savvy.
Elliott was chosen as one of Ottawa's top 50 influential people
by Ottawa Life Magazine and was nominated for Small Business
Of The Year by Ottawa Tourism.
Joanna
Smith, BJ (Hons.) D.Ac.
As a health practitioner for the past 20 years, Joanna Smith
has used a multi-faceted approach to assist in healing the
body, mind and spirit. She has practiced acupuncture therapy
in Almonte, Ontario since 1993 after graduating from the institute
of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto.
Joanna introduced Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness, to
her practice 7 years ago. Her studies into alternative and
complementary therapies also included herbal medicine, bioenergetics
psychotherapy, medical Qi gong, Swedish and Taoist massage,
ayurvedic nutrition and yogic numerology. In addition, Joanna
has also completed a three years apprenticeship with South
American Shaman, Ana-Karyn Garcia, at the Bioenergetics Institute,
of which she has been a member since 1997. In addition to
acupuncture and yoga classes for adults and children, Joanna
offers individual counseling, evening classes and weekend
retreats.
