Welcome,
for over 30 years Fulton's has entertained groups during the
spring maple syrup season. Sharing this Canadian tradition
has been our family treasure. Tour groups from over 20 countries
have visited Fulton's. We pride ourselves on providing Canadian
memories and the opportunity to explore one of Canada's landmarks,
a mature sugar maple forest. Now we've expanded our invitation
to offer you a 4-Season destination. Arriving by coach bus,
smaller bus, van or car, we look forward to sharing our timely
tradition, our pristine forest and activities with you.
Our
400 acre sanctuary of forest and trails is located approximately
40 minutes west of Ottawa; 2 ½ hours west of Montreal;
3 ½ hours east of Toronto; 2 hours from Kingston and
2 hours from Canada's glorious Algonquin Park. We are nestled
in the heart of Lanark County, the Maple Syrup Capital of
Ontario and on the fringe of Ottawa, the National Capital
Region.
We
cater to companies, organizations, team weekday incentives,
ESL groups, international students, and family days as well
as to senior groups. Attention photographers, outdoors clubs,
visiting dignitaries, convention spousal tours, associations,
media and FAM tours, treat yourselves to a day away.
On
behalf of the Actua staff and our conference delegates, I
would like to thank Fultons for a fun, educational evening,
and a delicious maple dinner. We were impressed with the friendly
staff, and especially appreciate the special attention given
to our delegates with allergies and dietary restrictions.
I
would also like to thank you for your hard work arranging
an evening at Fultons to suit the needs of our group.
Thanks
again!
Sincerely,
Nicole Bosiak

Our
programming and group activities are geared to older students
(Jr High+), visiting international students and adults. Visiting
student groups from Canada and abroad are welcome to visit
outside of the spring season. Every group has different needs
and each season brings it owns unique opportunities. The length
of your visit may vary and it is up to you how long you wish
to stay. For spring, summer, fall and winter groups, please
contact us for group reservations.
SPRING
GROUP TOURS
Spring
is in the air which means maple syrup season is in full swing.
Our spring maple syrup season is generally from the last week
of February to the 3rd week in April each year. Our daily
hours of operation during our spring maple syrup season are
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. For general public scheduled
daily spring activities visit our web page, Spring Maple Syrup
Season page.
Due
to the hustle and bustle of the spring maple syrup season,
advance reservation
is required (4 weeks + ) for spring group tours:
- greater
than 15 people
- wishing
to book special activities (private hayrides, guided tours,
etc)
- wishing
an early/late visit (outside of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m)
On
Sundays groups are welcome to visit for breakfast (before
10:00 a.m.) or visit in the afternoon (after 2:00 p.m.) and
enjoy activities with a later meal. This ensures a quieter
time for group participants. Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
on weekends, the restaurant tends to bustle with general public
visitors.
SUMMER,
FALL & WINTER GROUP TOURS
Summer is a fabulous
time to visit the Ottawa Valley. The valley has some of the
best white water in North America. A short drive from
the shores of the Ottawa River and nestled into the luscious
roaming landscape is Fulton's 400 acres. Have your group relax
on a reprieve from the busy day. Travel our back roads to
serenity and enjoy a country breakfast or lunch with cool
refreshments. Experience the art of being green. Have your
camera ready to capture nature on film. A special time of
the year, when re-juvenation and re-generation are at new
peaks for animals, foliage and people too!
Fall
is a picture perfect season with dazzling, delightful and
fascinating colours. Rejoice in the splendor of the. Feel
the leaves dance around you as they settle to the forest floor.
This is nature's time for reflection and making memories.
Fulton's is an ideal morning or afternoon visit for national
and international bus tour groups coming into Ottawa and en-route
to Algonquin Park or Kingston. Take the time and pencil us
in for breakfast or lunch, it will be a highlight. Be sure
to make Fulton's a stop on your next itinerary!

Winter
and the trees may be asleep but activity in the forest is
flourishing when the snow flies. We invite your group to share
a magical horse drawn sleigh ride along our trails. Remember
a time gone by when horsepower had another meaning. Catch
the sparkle of fresh fallen snow, duck as you walk under the
snow covered winter foliage. Perhaps bring your skis and get
in a few miles of trail. The snow is a soft place to land,
take time to create a childhood favorite, a snow angel. Capture
the crisp, comfortable and pristine feeling of winter in the
forest on film. The stillness is misleading for now it's easier
than ever to follow animal activity. Tracks are everywhere.
Take only pictures and leave only footprints.
