FOREST MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

HOURS OF OPERATION - FEES & GUIDELINES

Fulton's ForestImagine having a huge backyard (400 acres to be exact!) with an elaborate trail system, surrounded by luscious vegetation, towering pines, escalating maples and the sounds of nature. Picture yourself celebrating the seasons with a refreshing hike, walk, brisk run, ski or snowshoe through a gorgeous, serene trail system. Sharing time with your family and friends on the trails bird watching. Can you feel the refreshing presence of the towering sugar maples? How about enjoying a picnic lunch and wrapping yourself up in the soothing elements of nature?

Dreams do come true. Come play in our backyard! For over 150 years the Fulton family has done just that! As stewards of the land they love, honor and respect nature's virtues. Fulton's is now extending an invitation to you to experience the exact same thing. How about that! Our new Forest Membership Program offers all this to you, your family and friends. Our Forest Membership Program provides a home away from home experience. This membership is open to anyone and all applications are subject to approval.

Here, everything is abounding in abundance. Bring your camera and binoculars to catch a glimpse of the astounding wildlife. The forest is home to many birds and animals typical of Eastern Ontario. Watch for white tailed deer, squirrels, porcupine, rabbits, foxes, raccoons, groundhogs, and their tracks! In the summer and fall we have seen the occasional wolf, fisher, and bear. We also hear and see songbirds, owls, hawks, woodpeckers and wild turkeys. Enjoy your visit and remember to take only photos and to leave only footprints!

Fulton's Forest

The beauty of the surroundings at Fulton's really struck me. I wanted to go wandering on the trails, and kept imagining myself cross-country skiing there in the winter. I was truly impressed by this 'hidden jewel' in Lanark County, and want to go there more often. There's a wonderful feeling of peace on the property. And I was truly impressed by how clearly the trails were mapped out. As I was looking at the maps, I was thinking of the possibilities this special place presents as the 'Gatineaus' of Lanark County - finally, groomed ski trails near home!
